For owners who want a single point of contact and accountability for their project, we can assume control of the design function. With Design / Build the Altus team hires the architect and engineers who best fit the needs of the project and works directly with them to develop working drawings and specifications, providing value engineering and constructability review as we go. This method is extremely helpful in streamlining the process whereby the contractor assumes responsibility for the design, helping reduce risk and potential headaches for the owner.

This method is great for owners who want to hire the design professionals themselves, but wish to maintain a fully integrated team of construction and design professionals through preconstruction, design and construction. Similar in many respects to Design/Build, the Team/Build method is effective in pulling together a complete team at the onset of a project, thereby increasing collaboration between the stakeholders and enabling more accurate cost budgets early on. Additionally, this process helps the team better anticipate challenges well in advance of their impacting project objectives.
